Some time ago I posted printable dungeon walls, claiming that there was no free and good-quality printable dungeon walls online.
My Beasts & Barbarians campaign starts soon, and I wanted to take a few inspirational photos while waiting for the game. These diorama-like photos have only few pieces of terrain, but represent situations that might well be epic moments in a Sword & Sorcery game.
Here's a paper model of a chemical container train car I've used as a prop in my Savage Cyberworld -campaign. Print it on two A4/Letter sheets, on cardstock, 120g paper or something else strudier than standard paper. I haven't added instructions as the model is quite simple, and I didn't see it necessary to add the parts that attach train cars to each other (whatever they are called in English), model worked quite well without them.
Did you assemble and paint WW2 military aircraft as a kid? I did, although I really didn't like much the glues and paints used in them, the ones I'm using currently in modelling and with miniatures are way easier to handle, an healthier too I guess. I also read Commando -comics and was generally fascinated about technology of The Great War. If you are also Plasticrack addict(tm), you'll be easily tempted to these.
While the most stuff I'm posting here is created by myself, once in a while I find something I must share. Today, I stumbled upon a new list at boardgamegeek, one collecting together various products containing prepainted miniatures. While I knew most of them, there were many new ones on the list too. From Star Wars Starship battles and Mage Knight to Angels 20 and Shadows over Camelot: A Company of Knights, you'll find here info and pictures of prepainted miniatures of many different genres and flavor.
I find it surprising that there's no free, high-quality printable basic walls downloadable anywhere - so I decided to create such and share them. These dungeon (or castle) walls are partially uneven structure, like they were very old, and this way work better as cave wall or cliff.
The photo below shows the walls in use; they have been altered a little bit after printing these walls but they are very close to these.
Moon nazis will land on USA too! This is important news, as majority of my readers - and a lot of potential movie fans - are from US. I'm talking about Iron Sky, a movie that no-one dared to make in Hollywood. Iron Sky has been sold to over 30 countries already. In USA, at least 10 largest cities will see this epic movie, distributed by Entertainment One. The movie is planned to be debut in US in april-may.
I keep collecting few minis from here and there to improve my collections, and I try to keep an eye on all the new prepainted miniatures releases.
Galactica is one of the games I'm planning to run with Savage Worlds in future. It's most likely to be a mini-campaign, consisting of ~5 sessions. As a miniature and prop -fanatic, I've gathered some props for the game already.
Most of the miniatures I'll use in the game will be sames I use in my cyberpunk campaign. Soldiers, men in suits, commoners, they all fit in. I've bought a few cheap clix I'll use as pilots, even if they don't have perfect match for the suit they'll work:
My earlier victory area flags have been quite popular, and because of a request, I've made a new set of flags. I haven't been able to print them myself, so the photo below is from dano903 at http://www.axisandalliesunderground.com and http://community.wizards.com . If you're interested in these flags prepared and based, ask him!
