Axis & Allies miniatures ww2 town terrain, WIP
This post shows you detail about constructing models and terrain bases for ww2 town terrain meant to be used with Axis & Allies miniatures. You can see photos of the ready terrain in another post. You can see details about construction phases by bringing the mouse pointer on the photo.
Babylon 5 paper ships
Some quick paper models for Babylon 5 games. I've also scratchbuilt G'Quan Heavy cruisers but there are only 3 of them so at least one more was needed. The map below is from e2o.
Olympus corvettes are also most welcome (and Canon!) addition to my Earth fleet.
Dual-purpose model: Town hall / Storage shelf
This building was made for terragenesis dual-purpose terrain competition. As my amount of models, terrains and miniatures keeps ever increasing, I also need more storage solutions for them. This building works as a decorative model that can be hung to wall, works as gaming terrain and stores nice amount of smaller terrain props.
Imperial walkers - a resin cast AT-ST and model kit AT-AT
I used to run a D20 Star Wars campaign years ago, and I created some At-St walkers for it. I created an original piece and then made a mold of it and created a few pieces. I used my AT-AT model kit and the chicken walkers with paper miniatures and they worked well. This was before I got addicted to plastic Star Wars miniatures.
I didn't buy the At-At miniature, but I've been using this kit with the miniatures. Even if it's a bit small to be used with the miniatures, it looks ok if there's no other vehicles around, but even if there is it's still better than nothing.
In-progress pics of the scratchbuilt Star Wars starship collection
While browsing through old photos, I found a few modelling/WIP photos of perhaps the most popular content of this site - miniature -scale Scratchbuilt Star Wars starships collection. I uploaded them here and at the same time, separated WIP pics and tutorials from the original Star Wars scratchbuilt starship models post to reduce the size and put them here to create one separate WIP/tutorial post. And sorry for rss spamming - I needed to change the title more relevant.
Miniatures for Babylon 5 rpg: Narn (Customized prepainted miniatures)
While I'm still going to post more in prepainted Modern/Cyberpunk miniatures series, I thought of posting some miniatures from another project of mine. I'm going to run Babylon 5 some day, and I want miniatures for it too. For this purpose I've been collecting some prepainted minis that are easy to modify - even if I sometimes have to repainte them completely.
Here's my Narn minis:
Pinterest: the best social media tool for gamers so far?
I know social media applications have been used in gaming more or less, but before now, I haven't found one that really is to my liking. Well, I liked Google Wave a lot, but it had it's issues and is now being shut down. But the new rising star among social media sites is Pinterest, which is extremely useful for roleplayers, terrain builders and miniature collectors as well. And as I'm verfy visually oriented person, it's quite natural I enjoy this new toy. But as a gamer, I wanted to think of using this toy also in gaming.
