Models
From terrain models to map tiles (and view to a few map tile sets)
There's a few words I'd like to share with you about using 3d-terrain and/or maps/tiles - what to use and why, and share my experiences about some maps and tiles I've used. And while I love modelling and creating cool terrain setups in my games, I've been moving towards using map tiles in my games instead of 3d props, and there's several reasons for that, which I'm going to tell you more about below. I've also added a few review-ish about tiles/terrains on this post.
Scratchbuilt Babylon 5 Earth ships
Earth alliance ships from Babylon 5 -series, scratchbuilt mainly from balsa wood, cardboard & wire. See WIP pages for Omega destroyers and Hyperion cruisers.
Fighters are made from printed paper glued on round cardboard discs.
Scratchbuilt Babylon 5 freighters
As a great Babylon 5 Fan, I've been building an amount of Babylon 5 ships in order to use them in roleplaying games and miniature games. As freighters have an essential part in e2o game, I just had to create some freighters too. These pics show you how I've created 5 Asimov -class freighters, one of which was turned into a Psi Corps freighter.
Scratchbuilt Babylon 5 Minbari Sharlin cruisers
Base cardboard structures of Sharlins are ready. On the left there are several starts of shadow ships. Currently I've finished only one shadow ship (in it's own post).
