Cardboard sailing ships (+WIP)
These two cardboard ships, a warship and a merchant ship, have seen frequent use in D&D games, as well as in an earlier Iron Heroes game. While IH was a different and refreshing variation from D&D, I find it currently too cumbersome ruleswise.
Chemical container car - paper gaming props for your modern/scifi games
Here's a paper model of a chemical container train car I've used as a prop in my Savage Cyberworld -campaign. Print it on two A4/Letter sheets, on cardstock, 120g paper or something else strudier than standard paper. I haven't added instructions as the model is quite simple, and I didn't see it necessary to add the parts that attach train cars to each other (whatever they are called in English), model worked quite well without them.
Gaming terrain: Fountain with streaming water (tutorial)
It's time for another terrain -related article, this time it's one of my personal favourites. The fountain can be used in almost any genre as they are present everywhere, and modelling streaming water was an interesting project. This article shows you phase by phase how the model was made, allowing you to create fountains and other water-filled elements of your own.
Salmon decorational model
A non-gaming post this time; As readers of this site are mostly gamers, I'll say a few words for this piece's gaming use too; it's not difficult to stretch one's brains to have an idea of using this decorational model as a giant fish the PC's must fight (or can summon!) The model can also be thought a miniature.
Scratchbuilt Babylon 5 Earth ships
Earth alliance ships from Babylon 5 -series, scratchbuilt mainly from balsa wood, cardboard & wire. See WIP pages for Omega destroyers and Hyperion cruisers.
Fighters are made from printed paper glued on round cardboard discs.
Scratchbuilt Babylon 5 freighters
As a great Babylon 5 Fan, I've been building an amount of Babylon 5 ships in order to use them in roleplaying games and miniature games. As freighters have an essential part in e2o game, I just had to create some freighters too. These pics show you how I've created 5 Asimov -class freighters, one of which was turned into a Psi Corps freighter.
